Kelley Cawthorne - Profiles - David Gregory

David Charles Gregory previously served in Michigan Governor John Engler's Offices of Legal Counsel and Regulatory Reform. He also worked as a legislative assistant for state and federal issues at Jackson National Life Insurance Company, and as an associate in the governmental and administrative law practice group of one of Michigan's largest law firms.

Mr. Gregory specializes in legislative matters, administrative and regulatory affairs, and general government relations. He also has extensive experience successfully representing corporate and trade association clients before state and federal executive branch agencies. Mr. Gregory also heads Kelley Cawthorne's Native American Affairs Practice Group based on his long-standing representation of tribal governments and those doing business in Michigan's Indian Country.

Mr. Gregory is a cum laude graduate of Thomas M. Cooley Law School where he was also on law review. He graduated magna cum laude from Northern Michigan University where he earned four varsity letters in football and was named the University's outstanding scholar-athlete in his senior year. He is a native of beautiful Leelanau County, Michigan.
