Frank J. Kelley is the longest-serving state attorney general in U.S. history and the greatest vote-getter in Michigan history. He is also publicly-acknowledged by Michigan Governor Jennifer Granholm as her mentor and top informal advisor.
In 1999, Mr. Kelley co-founded the firm with Dennis O. Cawthorne, a former Republican caucus leader in the Michigan House and a pre-eminent lawyer and entrepreneur twice named Michigan’s single most effective lobbyist by Inside Michigan Politics. The firm has quickly distinguished itself by being named as one of the state’s top five (5) most effective lobbying organizations in the same independent survey conducted by Inside Michigan Politics.
Three of the firm’s attorney/lobbyists were also recognized as being among the state’s top twenty individual lobbyists. As stated by a published response in that survey, we are “[l]awyers who truly know politics.”
